Breathe – R. Madhavan’s New Webseries – Coming This Republic Day – Preview

Breathe – How Far Will You Go To Protect The People You Love? – Amazon Prime Original

Breathe

When the life of a person we love is on the line, there are no rules. Anything goes and nothing is forbidden. This is the tumultuous dilemma that Breathe will focus on.

Starring R. Madhavan, Amit Sadh, Hrishikesh Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Atharva Vishwakarma and Neena Kulkarni in lead roles, Breathe is an Indian drama series that will premiere on 26th January on Amazon Prime. The series will also be Amazon’s first trilingual thriller that will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu simultaneously.

This will be Amazon Prime Video’s second Indian original series and marks the digital debut of Madhavan. Along with Sacred Games and The Ministry, Breathe is one of the most anticipated Indian webseries to watch out for this year.

Breathe –Rules Don’t Apply When the Life of a Loved One is on the Line

Breathe

Breathe explores the lives of ordinary men faced with extraordinary circumstances. Written and directed by Mayank Sharma, the series follows a series of murders of organ donors. Kabir (Sadh), a brilliant but non-conventional officer of the Crime Branch, puts the pieces together of seemingly unconnected deaths that lead up to an unlikely suspect – the affable Danny (Madhavan). Kabir will not stop till he cracks the case and delivers justice.

The series will focus on the age-old question: How far will you go to protect the one you love? The trailer looks pacy and dramatic and if the trailer is anything to go by, the series promises to dazzle the viewer.

Madhavan plays the antagonist and portrays the role of a father who is willing to kill people and take their organs in order to save his son, who is suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, a fatal lung condition. As Madhavan’s character embarks on his killing spree, Amit Sadh’s a police officer, Kabir, tries to fit the pieces together of a range of seemingly random murders that are somehow linked.

This results in a cat-and-mouse chase between the characters Danny Mascarenhas and Kabir Sawant.

Breathe – Will It Dazzle Us or Fizzle Out?

Breathe

Writing and directing Breathe has been an absolutely exhilarating experience. I am proud of the content that my team and I have put together and can’t wait to share the series with the world! A unique storyline, a deep emotional insight, top technical support, supportive producers and stellar performances – we’ve gone all in with Breathe. The audience will also see Madhavan and Amit in never-before avatars and I hope the audience enjoys the show as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

Breathe

Will Breathe breathe new life into the bleak and inexpressive Indian Film Industry or will it join the bandwagon of the same-old Indian stupidity?

We’ll find out soon enough. Though, with someone as talented as R. Madhavan in the cast, I’m hoping for the former!
